On February 24, Xu Yeqin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, accompanied by director Hu Junhao of the Academic Affairs Office, came to the College of Marxism to inspect the work of the spring semester and had a discussion with the leadership team of our college.

Accompanied by Tang Zhenhua, Li Haibo and Zhu Lei, the leaders of the College of Marxism, Xu Yeqin listened to the course of "Selected Reading of Marxist Classical Works" taught by Teacher Gao Haibo and communicated with him kindly. Afterwards, Xu Yeqin had a discussion with the leaders of the college. Dean Li Haibo reported the work and development of the college’s winter vacation, and other leaders put forward opinions and suggestions. Xu Yeqin affirmed the achievements of the college and stressed requirements for the work of the new semester: first, firm political direction, implement moral education; second, strengthen the goal guidance and clarify the development goals; third, adhere to reform and innovation, and improve the quality and efficiency of ideological and political education; fourth, attach equal importance to teaching and research and promote the coordinated development of teaching and research; fifth, strengthen the construction of the team,    equipped with ideological and political teachers.

Tang Zhenhua said that under the leadership of the University Party Committee, the college will focus on moral education, focus on the main line of work, promote connotation construction and high-quality development, and make greater contributions to the ideological and political work and talent training work of the university.
